We have just had the best night ever, celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday and The Sound totally made our evening! We have followed them and seen them play brilliant gigs all over the city, and they just get better! The guys are all amazing, professional and friendly. Aaron dealt with our initial enquiry and clearly explained all of the options. A couple of weeks before our event Aaron checked in ask us about our favourite songs from their setlist, and we organised a playlist of songs for the intervals. On the night, the band set up and sound-checks were all done before the evening started. When the band started, they were amazing - they really got the party going and the dance-floor was packed for both sets…. Finished off by a fantastic encore! What a brilliant night. So many of our guests have messaged us to compliment the band - we would definitely recommend them, and can’t wait for the next chance to see them perform.

We had the sound play at our wedding in July. There are no words to describe how amazing they were. From the very beginning Aaron was brilliant considering we should have got married 2 years ago 3 dates and 2 postponements. Aaron was amazing from start to finish; with us moving so many times due to covid and always accommodated us in anyway he could. The band sang our first dance and it was more than we ever expected it made it that extra bit special it being sung rather than the orginial track just being played. Music is a massive part of us as a couple and these guys gave us exactly what we wanted. The music they played was brilliant and got everyone on the dance floor. The Sound played our wedding on the 8th of August. What can I say.... They absolutely rocked the place. The band were extremely tight, excellent set list, so much passion for the music they were playing and they looked like they were having as much fun playing to us as we were dancing. They kept the dance floor bouncing through their sets. We also had the dj package so music was on all night, the bands lighting and sound rig was impressive. My nan who is 93 was up and dancing with us all for the entire night, she said she's never moved so much in her life. It was the best night ever, me and my wife are already planning another event so we can have them come and play again. Highly recommended and super friendly guys.

I cannot compliment The Sound enough. Trying to organise a wedding through COVID was very stressful but they did everything they could to make the process stress free and kept in regular contact which was really reassuring in the current climate. The band performance was the best part of the day without a doubt and I would highly recommend them for any wedding. Their set list is full of variety and appealed to all of our guests. Upon booking our wedding, Matt & I knew that we wanted a live band to play. We had seen The Sound play at our friends wedding a couple of years before and loved the range of songs they played so we decided to get in contact. From start to finish the communication with The Sound was fantastic. Emails/questions were answered promptly and we felt totally at ease handing over the deposit to secure the band for our big day.

As stated upon booking The Sound, they emailed us 4 weeks before our wedding to run through the plan of action, and sent an updated set list for us to have a look at and pick anything we definitely wanted or didn't want to be played, we also discussed the first dance song (We wanted the original track to be played) and nothing was too much hassle. I also got a phone call 2 days before the wedding to confirm timings and final touches which was very re assuring as when leading up the the wedding we were so busy, receiving that phone call meant the band were one less thing to worry about because we knew they would turn up and everything would go to plan!

The band arrived to the wedding venue on time and set up with no bother, and were professional throughout the evening, they were at ease with the excitable and tipsy wedding guests who did not want the music to end! Our guests have said nothing but positive things about the band since our big day and looking back on our photos and videos it shows, with some guests (including myself) ending up on shoulders, toddlers dancing way past their bed time and people not leaving the dance floor until the end of both sets!

We would 100% recommend The Sound to anyone, and we are looking forward to attending a wedding later on in the year where we know they have been booked to play!

Guys, thanks so much for playing at our wedding party at The Oak Barn. The set you put on was immense and had everyone on the dance floor, young and old. A number of our guests have commented on how good the music was, and the great atmosphere you created. It’s just a shame that you guys couldn’t have carried on all night.

We really wanted to make sure we booked a good live band for our evening do, and we weren’t disappointed with The Sound. The booking process was easy and straightforward and the band contacted us at various stages leading up to the wedding to make sure everything was on track.

The highlight of the evening was when the band invited my new wife Lucy up on the stage with them to sing a song. It was a lovely touch and I know Lucy loved her 5 minutes of being a rock star. Not to be left out I had to jump on stage for the next song, and live my boyhood dream of being a rock star as well. Apologies for murdering Wonderwall but the memories will stay with us for the rest of our lives. I attach one of our fav pictures showing this!

I booked The Sound for my wedding in July after seeing them play in Plymouth. I saw them once and knew they'd be perfect. I always wanted a band to play at my wedding and their setlist was perfect. They had a great mix of of the old classic and new rock and alternative songs, and did some really fab new versions of pop songs with their unique Sound twist. I think their sound caters for everyone, and they perform with such energy and throw themselves into every song, I was so impressed every time I saw them play.

They were really accommodating with song requests also. Nothing was too much trouble and they really put me at ease throughout the entire process. Weddings are complicated big deals and there is so much going on during the planning - these guys made it so easy for me. They kept in touch from the moment I sent them my first enquiry email to the day before (and day of!) my wedding 9 months later. They're also the nicest bunch and I am now well and truly a fan. I was so proud to have these guys play at my wedding - thanks guys!! It was amazing and we got so many compliments about them after the wedding. Not surprised one bit - they were the best.

We'd just like to say a big thank you to you all for performing at our wedding in May. We had an unforgettable night which we can only give you the credit for. The night flew by and I don't think we have sung and danced like we did in a very long time.

From the moment we booked the band, we knew we were in safe hands. We sent enquiries to six different bands and it was The Sound that got back to us first with a quote within 20 minutes. I then gave them a call to talk through our evening and was immediately sold by Aaron's personality and passion for what he was doing. We took the USB option the band provide to save us on the cost of a DJ and also had an extension at the end of the night as the bar didn't close until late. All of this was done with the minimum of fuss and we were kept informed right up until our wedding day to make sure everything went to plan.

The evening was brilliant. We were so relaxed as everything the band had promised was made to happen. From arriving, to setting up, playing their sets and the DJ music in between, it was perfect. We booked "The Sound" for our wedding in Exeter after finding their website online. After a chat with Aaron, we knew that we had found the right band for our wedding and instantly booked them. The booking process was really easy and after a few emails, we had managed to find our wedding band.

The band turned up promptly and set up with the minimum of fuss. They played our first dance which was "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran and the dance floor stayed full for the whole evening. What can we say? What an amazing band. We booked these guys a year in advance after seeing them play in Plymouth. They were excellent then and even better at our wedding. All of our guests were raving about you over breakfast the next morning, so I think you've managed to get yourself a lot of new fans.

The band asked for some songs that we wanted included in the set in the evening and built the rest of their set around this. Our family and friends didn't want them to come off stage. They gave us a floor filling set that just didn't fail to deliver. The guys even joined us during "Don't Look Back In Anger" at the end of the night in the middle of the dancefloor. You guys are simply brilliant.

We booked The Sound for a corporate function at Dartington Hall based on a recommendation from a local Plymouth fan. It turned out to be an absolutely fantastic recommendation. The guys played brilliantly for 2.5 hours and kept the set list varied to appeal to the whole crowd! A true measure of success was the very full dance floor throughout the entire evening! I'm finally writing my review of the best band I have come across. Where do I start? I can't praise you guys enough!! I was planning my daughters wedding, we had a marquee in the back garden and we wanted a live band. The Sound where recommended by a friend that knew them personally. I spoke to Aaron on the phone and was impressed with how professional he was, I wanted the best for the wedding and I definitely got the best band. Communication with the band was A1, plenty of e-mail's and phone calls which really put me at ease.

On the night the boys were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. They were polite and enthusiastic to be at the wedding. I booked The Sound for my wedding on 30th June as they came highly recommended. After watching a couple of their gigs after booking them I did have some doubts that they may be too rocky for some of the older guests. However I needn't of worried, everyone was up dancing from the start to the end of the evening!! So many guests after the wedding have said they were such a good band.

The Sounds communication from booking until the wedding was spot on. I didn't have to worry as they are professionals. They even took the time to learn and play our first dance song which is not something they would usually play but they still aced it!!

All I would say is that if your looking for an amazing band for your perfect day, these are the guys for you. Book them!!

The Sound were an absolutely fantastic band for our evening wedding reception. They played a range of songs that everyone knew and everyone was up dancing. The floor was packed and everyone loved singing along.

The band were totally professional in the build up to the wedding and arrived early ready to set up and start. Although we were a little late finishing the meal, the band were not fazed and just altered their set start times a little to fit in with us. They made their middle break shorter to ensure we got the full amount of time we had paid for.

Every part of the performance was top quality and at the end of the night the guests were begging them to sing more! Every song they performed was brilliant and many of our evening guests commented on how fabulous they sounded.

We are truly thankful to the band for giving us a really personal performance which we and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be looking out for local gigs where we can see them again.

This band is hot, hot, hot! I heard them playing back in November at The Cherry Tree (where they had the whole pub rocking!) I loved them so much I tracked them down for my husband's 30th birthday!

The Sound made the party! They smashed it getting everyone up on the dance floor performing The Kings of Leon, 'Sex On Fire' to which everyone was going mad and requesting encores. The band performed tracks from The Killers to Oasis and even Scott's 60 year old Auntie and Uncle were up throwing moves on the dance floor!

These guys are absolutely fab and I would recommend them to anyone. I would definitely pay for them again! Everyone asked how I managed to get hold of them - that's how good they were. One of our guests even thought we were partying to a CD until the crowd dispersed to the extent they realised they were listening and dancing to a live band!

You guys were great... If anyone wants to have a great band with great music then look no further. I booked them for my 40th and everyone loved them. They do a wide selection of music and pull off every song. I would book them for any private function, and if I get married you guys will be first on my list.

Every member of the band is a great guy and on stage they have great presence, a great energy that the whole crowd get stuck into. I had nearly 200 people at my Party and the room was very large but the music filled the place... brilliant. I love Oasis and they did them proud...
